I have a friend over for a few days and wanted to get him into the game. We made his account, got it verified, and went to log into the game. Prof. Oak pops up, gets to the character creation screen, and the instant we click on any of the arrows or OKAY, the entire thing freezes completely. I tried a few times throughout the day and it hasn't changed. My account works fine. So I really don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

I've been training speed and attack on route 8 right outside Celadon. Rattata, Raticate, Vulpix, Growlithe, Spearow, Meowth, Persian, Houndour, Murkrow, Bellsprout. Basically so long as you don't take out Abra (Since idk what it gives and it doesn't pop up often, once in 3 days) you're gaining ev's.

0,o Golbat just randomly evolved while I was ev training! No level up, beat a Rattata, speed v went up 1 point to 48, and suddenly he was evolving. Weird but I'll take it! Thank you again.

Don't know if this is the right place, if not, please move and link to new forum. I've been trying for days to get my Golbat to evolve into Crobat. I checked it's happiness, and it's at 255, I leveled it up to 57, and it just won't do it. Any suggestions?

Pardon the noobish question. Went to log in today after 5 days afk, and each time I clicked Log in, it said I had an out of date version. I looked on the main page, downloads, and searched the forums, but can't find any way to update my game, so how exactly do I do this so I can play again? Do I just have to redownload the game?
