I don't even get to fight anyone anymore. I've fought like 1 person, then have been repeatedly caught since then. I can't move anywhere on the 2nd floor aside from the lift and the hallway without getting "caught".

I am stuck in the Team Rocket Hideout unless there is something I'm missing. I've already gotten the elevator key, and can go to the 1st, 2nd, and 4th floor. On the 4th floor, there is a door and a tank of some sort that requires a keycard, which I don't have. On the 2nd floor, when I attempt to walk to the left towards the boxes and spin tiles, i get caught by some unseen guard. This puts me into the room on the first floor, that I must escape from by jumping on top of boxes. Once i get out, it becomes a rinse and repeat of walking left on the 2nd floor and getting caught. How can I get past this part?
