One pokemon is not "everything" but that aside, you still did not get my statement. I am not saying we should play the Gen6 meta and remove everything from Gen7. My argument is that Ash-Greninja is significantly stronger because of the stuff we are missing from Gen7.

There are plenty of counter in the current meta. Chansey/Blissey, Goodra, Ferro, Mantine, Mega Venu, Alomola, Alolan Muk, Tentacruel, anything with mach punch, plenty of scarf users such as Garchomp and Lando, weather sweepers, and many focus sash offensive mons. Just off the top of my head.

Can conk even safely switch into ash gren? Have you ever thought about that?

Most of Gren's attacks yes Conk can survive, especially if you can bait dark pulse... but what do you want its a glass cannon, of course it hits hard. Boomburst Exploud doesn't have many good switch ins either, should we ban him too?

Also... Mantine, Slowking, and Ferro, Mega Venu just off the top of my head.

There's no one Ash Ninja set that beats everything.

     252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja-Ash Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Azumarill in Rain: 189-223 (46.7 - 55.1%) -- 14.8% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
    252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja-Ash Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Azumarill: 126-149 (31.1 - 36.8%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

Or he can use spikes when you switch

Rain, specs, pump (after evolution to ash gren) for a 14% chance of a 2HKO? Lol

Yeah I'm not sure if it's what you were trying to do but you just made his point for him.

I don't think it's necessary to ban the gren, maybe choose Azu calm h.a to counter. Gren's ability works, people are not used to it so it's hard to pvp, I think it should take time to get used to it before coming to a conclusion. Anyway, I hope there are plans to add four "Tapu" to the game.

Im fine with Ash Gren but NO to the tapus they are beyond busted

  5. Maybe I'm just dumb but this doesn't seem worded very clearly. Are you saying the event goes for 24 hours no matter what? Even if the goal is reached, allowing players to hunt for a guaranteed 24 hours to get 0.5% of the goal?

    If so.... I agree, +1,000

  6. I think the latest bug fix around crits has inadvertently caused a major major issue with the difficulty of bosses.

There's a difference between "hard mode" and... busted. I believe we have now crossed that threshold. We all know the advantages bosses on hard come equipped with, 400 evs in every stat, not restricted by choice lock, etc. The only remotely CONSISTENT way to make up for these disadvantages is setting buffs, debuffs, screens, etc. Now with one crit.. it gets completely blown up.

Bosses are the only consistent income at a players disposal (digs got super nerfed long ago), and are MASSIVELY time consuming. I see no benefit in putting a stranglehold on a player's ability to earn a consistent income by putting the time in. Half of this game is about collecting, for many player's that's the sole purpose of this game. Severely limiting player's ability to earn and subsequently buy/collect only serves to dissuade players away from the game. It's good for the game to have ONE aspect where if you put the time in you know you'll earn something for it, let's aim to keep that in place.

For that reason I STRONGLY suggest we look into rebalancing the bosses in some way, I don't know if I have the perfect answer on how exactly to do that... personally my suggestion would be disabling ALL crits (player and CPU) during boss battles. But balance is not linear, perhaps there are better methods. To me at the moment that would simply be the most easy and sensible, and even wouldn't be SOLELY advantage-player.

  7. I was playing ranked pvp, we were both down to our last poke. I had a life orb Jolteon and killed his last poke, after his last poke died to my attack my Jolteon died to life orb. I noticed I didnt get a win and got a loss, and my rating dropped... by the rules that should be my win. I've even had it happen before. I messaged my opponent after to ask if he was credited with a win and he was. My opponent even admitted he shouldnt have.

I'm pretty livid about this one, pls fix.

  8. So in talking to players, the consensus seems to be that king shield dropping the opponents atk is what makes Aegislash grossly OP, not necessarily the ability to switch between shield and blade form.

It's a shame because he is a fun mon to use, and frankly I agree with the people I've talked to in the way that only the attack drop is over the top. Otherwise he is a very predictable poke to play around. He is also weak to what are probably the most commonly used attack typings in game, fire cause everyone needs to deal with ferro, earthquake because its spammable, and knock off because.. it's knock off.

So as the title says I think we should allow him to activate stance change with protect. There's no reason we cant make our own balance changes that arent true to the actual games, this is it's own game.

We waited years for stance change to be coded, finally.. we were kinda sold it as a feature in the new update, and just like that it's effectively taken away. In a meta that now has megas, and relatively new powerful legendaries, I think it's time to open it up a bit and be a little less ban-happy.

    Flame away.
