yes that will happen, when you chose to learn but cancel it then, the tutor will take your money. so far i know, you can learn surf via HM and its free. Yeah, but I kind of don't want to lose 8k. Small amount, but I don't wanna lose it for no reason.

Moving this to the appropriate sub forum. Also, did you pick Pikachu as your starter when you started the game? Yes, Pikachu was my starter. It was the Raichu I tried using it with, but after cancelling, It still took my money ;-;

User: ItsKekoa I just won the battle against the Pikachu who knows Surf. I wanted to test to see if Raichu could also learn it, and then I cancelled after seeing he could. Though I didn't learn surf, it still took 8k away from me. Please help.
