Okay so it happened several more times since then against different people. The last guy had a machamp that outsped my nidoking and heracross while he had his speed lowered from sticky web, and he didn't even have a scarf because he was switching moves. At this point I'm convinced it's a bug, probably involving sticky web somehow having the opposite effect at times. Quick claw is a trash item and there's no way I'm running in to so many people using it, and it's activating that frequently when it's a 20% chancce.

He didn't dragon dance at all, he wasn't scarf, and he didn't use any moves like tail wind or trick room that could have affected it. I thought quick claw wasn't coded, but if it is coded then I guess he could have just gotten lucky with quick claw twice in a row. Otherwise it's definitely a bug because he did nothing beforehand that could have affected the speed of my volcarona or his tyranitar.

Hello, I was playing a pvp match today, and I came across a strange bug where my opponent's tyranitar was faster than possible. I had a sticky web down, and I have a timid 325 speed volcarona that I quiver danced once with (effectively bringing it up to 487 speed). My opponent swapped in a tyranitar, which can have at most 243 speed (even if he had choice scarf the sticky web would have brought him back down to 243 speed). After he outsped my volcarona, he then outsped my medicham who has 258 speed, and he switched his move (stone edge vs. volcarona, crunch vs medicham) so he couldn't have had a choice scarf. I have no idea what might have caused the bug, I just wanted to bring this to the attention of the staff,in hopes that if other people report something similar they can figure out the cause. Yeah it seems that's the case, I just put it as my lead to test it and the ability worked.

I have a trace gardevoir, and trace doesn't work in ranked pvp. It works in pve and when I challenged a friend to a pvp match it worked, it doesn't even say that my ability is now X when I put my gardevoir out it ranked pvp., Is Trace intentionally disabled in ranked pvp or is it a bug?

Is there a reason why trace is disabled in ranked pvp? I have a trace gardevoir, and the ability works perfectly fine in pve. I challenged a friend to a battle and it worked against him, but it doesn't seem to do anything in ranked pvp. I used it a few times in ranked pvp now, it never says that it copies the ability and I'm pretty sure it didn't copy the opposing pokemon's ability in any of the matches. Edit: maybe this thread should be in general support, I'm not sure.

I tried switching from Garchomp lead to Greninja right as I was running out of time during team preview, and then it showed my greninja moveset on my garchomp. I still used garchomp's moves instead of the ones that appeared. It's a minor bug that isn't too problematic but I figured I should report it.
