Yeah. Hunt something easier. Gengar need 31 speed to be pvp viable. It makes it somehow hard to find, but, lots of pokemon are rare but doesn't have such a requirement, and most of the pokemon are usable with 25+ ivs overall. Which is easier to find than a specific 31 IV pokemon such as Gengar. You should hunt something harder to find, but with less requirements. If you really want a Gengar, then.. We (all the Gengar users) had to do it. We all farmed alot of time beore finding the right one. So my suggestion is either: hunt something else or be more patient ! The grind is a part of the game.

First of all, you don't need money, you don't need MS, and you basicaly don't need anything to start hunting a pokemon. We all started out of zero. We all were "newbies" on PRO. We managed to hunt our pokemon, some of us started to sell, buy, some others decided to only hunt. Yet, we all end up on the same situation: We do have more than 1 team. What you suggest is a tournament thing, not a "ladder thing". When you're laddering, you're forced to adapt your team every now and then or you will get predicted so often. I understand your point of view, but I don't think it is a thing that should be implemented. Then, keep in mind that the PvP is the -end of the end game content-. Once you did the 3 regions, there's still some side stuff to do. Building your team is one of them, it takes time. If you want more than 6 PvP pokemon, such as lot of "veterans" did", then play the game, as we did. Yet, I understand what you mean, but I enjoy switching out teams to not "play the same thing every single day". Good luck ! Edit: By the way, I highly suggest you to actually avoid buying your pokemon. Your money is useful to enter the safari, excavation, etc. It will add -alot- of content in game. Especialy if you're a newbie.

Are you sure you don't own 2 accounts ? You might have created two accounts with the same email. It really looks like this account is an empty one, and you'd have a second one with all your stuff. I see no reason why your data would be erased.

The legendaries beside of Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Entei/Raikou/Suicune (depending on your choice) and Phione aren't catchable. They're only made to be killed. The bosses are those npc with red names, they have a team of lv120 pokemon and are the end-game pve-content.

I'd head over Seaform, if I was you. (Located between Fuchsia City and Cinnabar Island). You'd need the 5th badge and Surf, though. I don't know where you are currently in the story, if you're not that far yet.. I don't really know. Did you evolve your pokemon ? If you didn't, it isn't supposed to be a struggle to level up.

Okay. Admetting, you are at Vermilion and you need to go to Stealth rocks tutor. Step 1: Walk forward to Saffron City. Step 2: Take the train from the station to Goldenrod City. Step 3: Take the subway to Olivine City. Step 4: Take the boat from the route 40 to Cianwood City. Step 5: Take the teleporter from Cianwood City to Safari entrance. Step 6: Enter the safari. Now, you got your move. Guess what ? Doing that will take you less than 5 minutes. If you're THAT poor you can't even afford teleportation and stuff, it's not a game problem. It is -your- problem. The game doesn't have to fix -your- problem. Yes, things cost money. Some things takes more time to reach, afford, etc. Incredible thing, it's the same in real life. Be happy that we have a Stealth Rocks tutor in a kinda easy place to reach. They have no reason to change its emplacement. You guys need to take on yourself and stop willing to change what's already fine to fit your will better.

Turtwig is catchable by headbutt on the route on the right of Cherrygrove city (follow the headbutt guide for it !), and Erika may reward you with one, but it's unsyncable.

So, let's compare: Red is old. Things are done, people are set. The market is somehow cheap because everyone has things. Means that it isn't hard to get a pvp team through trade chat. Also, the player count is the second higher. Blue is getting old. Things are done aswell, the economy is a bit less cheap than Red as it's a bit more recent, but hey, everyone has things aswell. It isn't hard to start on those. Also, the player count is the highest. Yellow is recent. Nothing is done, things are changing. We're still fixing our economy and not everyone has great things. Means you can still be someone by yourself. You could hunt the best Caterpie of the server and show up with it, nobody (or only a few) could post theirs to counter your showing off. Also, the player count is the lowest currently. Honestly, I'd go for Yellow in any case. I left Blue for Yellow months ago and, when I log on Blue (time to time for friends) I can -always- see why I left. Yellow is much different. It might take some time, and you will more likely not do this but there's my idea. Play an hour on each server. See how things are, see what community fits better for you. For me, it was Yellow. We don't only have great people, it's the same everywhere. But I felt way better in there than anywhere else. There's my answer.

I don't have much informations about it, but it's a common bug. As far as I know, there is no fix for it yet and people complained alot about it. By the way, you're not showing up in his friend list anymore. I got this bug with a few people, they aren't on my friend list, I'm not on their. Don't worry, it's mainly graphical, he won't harass you more and in case he pm you back, think about /ignore hisname.
