I can't comment on all of them because I haven't been to Johto or traded with anyone yet, but I like the idea of having random NPCs around the place that give you tips like how to send remote friend requests, or answer the most frequently asked questions for that area. There are some NPCs that do that already, but more are always welcome. Giving hints on where to get the bike also sounds like a nice idea. I learned of the location for that one because someone was explaining it to someone else in the chat, and having an actual hint-giving NPC around for times live people are not that amicable toward questions would work too. If there is one already then I missed it when I passed through that area >.<

I don't necessarily hate it, but I always disliked Sunflora's design. It looks so "I just ran into a door, now punch me in the face," with that smug smile. Also, anything wild with the Sturdy ability or with the Sucker Punch move, because those two things are my current bane of training far away from a Pokemon Center.

It depends on my mood at the time. Some weeks I just want to watch those calm slice of life types of anime, and other weeks I want something with loads of violence and drama.
