  1. They are planning an auction house thingie anyway, so this wouldn't be needed. And 30 mins per "stall" is probably too much, heck even 10 would just encourage people to AFK more and avoid getting kicked and letting people who'd actually play on the server.

Just my opinion though, this may be more suitable for PRO than the planned auction house.

  2. Uhm, why'd it be wrong if an English speaking person would promote the server, barney? Would just bring more people. I personally got discouraged first when I saw the videos because I thought the entire game is filled with people who refuse to talk in English, but I'm glad that wasn't the case...

  3. It might be only me, but I'd prefer hearing the actual sounds Pokemons make in the anime when we encounter them or send them out.

You've done it with Pikachu, why not all of them? Would be cool in my opinion. Most definitely better than hearing robotish sounds that are nothing like they're intended to sound.

  4. 88684 1. that normal thou.. PRO giving pvp match.. when u gonna pvp if need more than a month for grinding 1 pokemon?? half year farming for 1 team?? hell no sir..

    2. for same thing i ask u to train low level pokemon without attacking moves without buying any TMs

    3. where u can walk around to pick leftover / black sludge?? i only know 2 spot with left over.. and for digging that depend on ur luck.. and pokemon not dropping item here.. u only can steal if that pokemon holding item..

If it was easy, everyone would be running around with op teams by now. What's the fun in that? I wouldn't be able to be "proud" of myself for winning a PvP battle if I knew I didn't put enough effort in the team or whatever.

Although I can see the frustration and understand it, I was farming for perfect IVs, nature and ability peeps for weeks now. It all comes down to luck first, then the skill in battle. Even if your team is not a 10/10, you may still be able to beat a better team if you have the skill actually.

I'd compare this game with poker actually. You need luck, but ulimately it all comes down to skill and patience.

  5. Guess I have to make one of these too, it appears to be a trend on every Pokemon forum I visit.

My name's Norbi (that's my name IG and yes, also my actual name). I'm Hungarian and discovered PRO almost a month ago. I don't know what else I could say, uhm... I like every single aspect of Pokemon MMOs, the PvP, collecting, farming and training stuff too.

Once PRO gets out of beta and everything that the staff has planned is implemented, making the game even more fun and enjoyable than it already is; I'm pretty sure I'll spend even more time around here.

Expect me to be around for a while. x)

  6. I agree with mostly all you said, Sparky. However, since this is supposed to be a hardcore event I don't see how time difference would be so bad. We can give each round a day or two to finish. The game is also available on Android phones and tablets, so that makes it easier too.

On the other hand, what might and might not be allowed for this tournament is entirely up to how fixed every move and how nerfed very Pokémon gets by the time all of this is going to be a thing. We can set limitations when the staff agrees to doing this.

I tried to ignore the DC issue... but let's have a go at it anyway. :Bored: If the server crashes, it's an obvious re-match. (And please note that by the time this tournament catches fire, PRO won't be in beta anymore and crashes won't happen daily). Plus what mostly happens on PRO is ragequits, ragequits and ragequits. Oh and the occasional "I'll disconnect from this one because this dude is too noob.". It's very rarely an actual disconnect. For what the rules would be for people that DO disconnect miraculously? I don't know, that's why this thread is up and that's why I want people's opinions and feedback.

  7. Yeah, it still needs lots of work. Not just the project itself but whatever else is required for it, like movesets or even animations to give it a better feel when it actually happens. Anyway, I'm glad I can see people supporting this and hope there will be more.

You guys should also focus on coming up with ideas for features of the project which haven't been stated yet and I'll edit the first post if the idea is... ideal.

  8. Imagine how cool this would be if it's done right and enough effort is put into it. I see a lot of promise in PRO and its staff, so I don't think it wouldn't be achievable. I'll explain the key features below and the rest of the community can sharpen it.

What is it? The Annual PRO World Championship would be held one time a year for PRO's most fearsome trainers. The tournament would take several days, every round of it taking up one day since there would be more than a few contestants.

When is it? Preferable in late July or early August, since that's when most people get their vacation and the most activity is to be expected.

Who can compete? This is the part not decided yet, or at least I couldn't come up with a solution to this... I'm sure the staff know how it's best to decide here. I would highly suggest that choosing trainers based off on online time or something ridiculously stupid like that would just encourage game-time leeching or cheating, so we'll need to come up with something smart for this.

What's the prize? Every competition has a prize, right? This one should be a real nice one since the tournament is unique, would be official and happens once in a year. I was personally thinking about a cool little custom hat or something handed to the winner aside from some IG cash or a unique Pokémon, but this would be up to PRO's staff in the end.

This project needs lots and lots of work still, and I'm willing to put effort into it to help it be a thing. (It's my suggestion after all, no? )

Other than that, I know how PRO is still in beta and all that, but don't just hit me with a "we're looking for other suggestions at the moment" again, because this feature or project doesn't have to be added tomorrow, not even next week or next month. We have plenty of time to work on this and think about it, I just want it to be thrown out there for the public to have a look at and share opinions and help improve and develop it.

  9. IN-GAME NAME: Norbi

    BADGES: Eight

    PLAYING HOURS: Around 70.

I could've moved on with the game long ago but I decided to do everything and anything I can/want in Kanto before moving on. Don't ask me, that's just a personal weird thing of mine. I wouldn't say I know everything about PRO, but I know my stuff when it comes to Pokémon in general, especially up to generation four.

Felt like I needed to add this.

  10. It's really annoying to get from one city to another when you have already defeated trainers battling you. I'd suggest a little tweak here. Trainers battling you again in a week from their defeat is fine, but wouldn't it be a lot better if you had the choice if you want to battle them or not? Like-... make them ask if you want to battle them or simply make them not walk up to you and start a battle instantly but make the player him/herself walk up to the trainer if he/she desires to have another fight.
