To access Mt Silver, take a left from the indigo plateau cross roads and continue left on the route. You will find a pokemon center and the entrance to the mountain.

I was able to move the karp after beating Clair so it seems they're just coded as kanto Pokemon in the lake of rage.

Hello, I didn't know which section to put this in so I'm leaving it here. I was in the lake of rage in Johto and catching some magikarps, I caught 10 or so and one of them went into my party. When I looked in my PC the magikarps I caught were Locked, just like my kanto pokemon. Furthermore, I am unable to deposit my magikarp in the party into the PC box. I believe this problem is only with the Lake of Rage magikarps, as I am able to move around my other pokemon in the PC and party slots. Because I am able to move my other party pokemon and those caught from other locations, training won't be an issue for me, but I would eventually like to get rid of this dang magikarp stealing a free slot haha. Thank you.
