I would stick to yellow, blue is mostly people spamming trash pokemon / silly chat. I started out on blue but i would have played yellow if i would have known about blues community before hand.

Yup pretty much the reason i quit the game, it never made sense to me why this is a thing. Almost every single new player will evolve their pokemon just to find out they messed up and now will require having to grind a lot longer to beat the e4. All this feature does is hamper new players, im not sure why it even exists in the game outside of it being an "mmo" feature, seems like all it does is turn new players away.

Honestly the grind in PRO 1.0 is why i quit playing and am waiting on 2.0 to launch. While i am perfectly fine with grinding the right natures and IV's im not fine with being unable to evolve my pokemon for the story mode (yes i know you can evolve them but not without the exp penalty). There are a lot of things in 2.0 that i wish 1.0 had, like catchable legendaries, mega evolves, flying, no exp increase after evolving and so on but the pro staff wants the game to be grindy and hard and they have the right to make it that way, it is of course their game after all. And don't even get me started on Johto as a whole, that region had a ton of problems. TLDR: Pro 1.0 could be an amazing game if some tweaks were made, at least enough to make the new player experience better.

i personally don't think PRO is big enough to warrant a shutdown BUT i do see action being taken with PRO 2.0, that game looks amazing and when it gets released its going to have a massive playerbase, so im already prepared for PRO 2.0 to eventually get a C&D letter and get shut down.

Is there a reason behind the low level random encounter mobs? I understand that the easiest way to beat the johto region is to pick cyndaquil and solo everything but for everyone else who picked a different starter and made a proper team its kinda hard to level considering that random encounters are so low level. Let me give you an example of how low the encounters are, in ice path (dungeon before the final gym) mobs are level 17, YES I SAID LEVEL 17, and this is just one of the areas with bad level scaling. Route 41 and dragons den was the only area's that gave decent exp, with route 41 having mobs between level 30-35 and the other closest area's having level 15-20 mobs, something obviously isn't right here. When you play through kanto you see a level increase on random encounters as you progress through the game but its different in johto, its much harder to grind. TLDR: This was obviously a rant but kanto was so much easier compared to johto and im not talking about battle difficulty im talking about time to grind. Honestly i wish i would have been told that picking cyndaquil and soloing the region was the way to go before i started it.

Started playing pokemon revolution online a few days ago and i finally beat the kanto region using the starter Squirtle only! Now to be fair i did have 5 junk pokemon for revive/heal spam but i still managed to do it. Thanks for making this awesome game and hope to see you guys in johto!

Jackson in Sliph Co 11F is listed as Trainer and not Jackson and if that's suppose to be Giovanni hes listed as "trainer" as well.. Still working on the official "Nameless NPC list" but i won't have that done till i beat the kanto e4 which should be in a day or 2 but i figured Jackson would be an easy fix. Edit: Seems like Sabrina also gives you "a league badge and not the marsh badge".

The text that i got from Janine when i beat her said she gave me "a league badge" and not the soul badge. the rest of the gym leaders have actually had the right badge name so this was a first. Also about the "nameless" trainers, im in the process of making my guide and it has all the "trainers" listed so if u guys do indeed want to give them names let me know and ill get a list together of each area that has "Nameless" NPC's so you guys can fix it. There's honestly not that many, at most its about 20 but it is annoying when you run into npc's with named and some with none but maybe im just to anal.

Mt Moon B1F, 2 Rocket Grunts that have no names, they're just listed as "Trainer" during battle. Also i have ran into multiple PokeManiac and Pokemaniac (capital and loser case m's) in my playthrough from start to lavender town. To be honest i probably wouldn't have caught any of that if i wasn't making a guide. EDIT: Another trainer in Celadon City has no name "only Trainer" during battle but i assume hes not suppose to have a name since its a surprise fight? EDIT #2: Seems like Rocket Grunts are either tagged "Rocket Grunt" or not at all, i see a few in Rocket Hideout BF1/B2F that have no name and listed as "Trainer" in battle. EDIT #3: Minor Trainers in Celadon GYM didn't have names either so im assuming whoever did this part of the game forgot to name most of the NPC's.

Head to the left for the TM and Antidote then head back to where you fell in at and go south, after fighting brandon head west till you see three bookshelves, click on the bookshelves to find a secret passage that leads to the key. Now that you have the key you can feel free to explore the mansion before going to challenge the Cinnabar Gym. Greetings everyone, i recently started playing the game and im enjoying it so far, i apparently got a clone squirtle as my starter pokemon and if you can't tell blastoise is my all time favorite pokemon. I have only ever played the gen 1-3 games so this will be a new experience for me (i'm a gen 1 baby). I also looked over the guide sections but couldn't find a full walkthrough with trainer and gym levels so i figured that i would write a guide as i play.
