  1. Pretty new to PRO, but since I've been around I can say that it's an extremely wonderful game. Kudos to everyone whom had a hand in creating it. I've had a few suggestions that might prove to be both fun and exciting additions to the game. Feedback is greatly appreciated. Criticism too! It's .. a lot of reading. Party System In the somewhat older pokemon games (DS) there'd be instances in which you would have to partner with another character to progress into a certain area. During this, every trainer battle, and wild encounter was a double battle, regardless of if there were only one enemy trainer. It'd be your pokemon, and the pokemon of your AI controlled teammate. You typically took turns, and shared EXP. The Party system would be emulating that exactly. It'd be limited to only two players (as I assume triple battles aren't a thing here) and the control would go to the player whom requested the party. When a party is created, a bar to the side would detail the 2 in it with their face icons at the time. The command to initiate it could simply be "Create party." Whilst in a party, two characters would follow each other (the trainer not in control simply set to auto-follow or something of that nature) and every wild encounter while in a party would be double battles of pokemon in that area. EXP would be split evenly between the two pokemon, and could function much like an average PVP battle as far as turns go. For trainer battles, I believe it would be ultimately tedious, and time consuming to add a double battle function to every NPC trainer in the game, so instead should that not be applicable, a prompt box could show just before the battle begins, asking whom would like to battle. Of course the chosen trainer to battle would do so, and the idle trainer could have something of a spectator mode going on to watch. Trainers will not be able to double battle a Gym Leader, and is strictly restricted to wilds and trainer battles only. Of course to stop partying one could left click their face on the aforementioned bar and select "Leave Party". Guilds/Guild Houses Personally I've yet to join a guild just yet, but it would be pretty awesome if they served some sort of purpose aside from a group of individuals whom are on good terms that could be kicked at any time. This is merely a rough idea of something I had come up with, so bear with me. I was thinking that perhaps guilds could be more interactive, and have levels much like pokemon. There'd be set caps for each level with level 10 being the highest. With this, perhaps there could also be a cap on how many individuals can be in a single guild until it levels up. Level 1 for instance starting with 10, and each subsequent level offering 10 more up until level 10. Guild Houses would be a neat feature in which players could possibly talk to an NPC located somewhere which would teleport them to a wide, custom map. This'd be the map of different Guild Houses, and would contain preset "lots" that Guild Masters can select and receive minor mapping tools (An EZ build function of course) to begin adding onto interior and exterior of their Guild House. New items and decorations could be unlocked through each level. Leveling up a guild could occur in one of many ways. With this being said.. perhaps there should be some sort of prerequisite before obtaining a guild, one that requires someone to be fully experienced with the game in order to create one. (i.e beating kanto league) Members of a guild being online would gradually raise the Guild EXP bar steadily, although not very much. It's more like a passive thing much like how one hatches an egg by running around. New members joining a guild would raise the Guild EXP bar faster than members being online, although for each level it gradually becomes dependent on inviting new members. For instance, inviting five new members to a guild would yield a considerable bump in Guild EXP at Level 1. Level 2 would of course, need more players for the bump to be more efficient. Guild Wars (See below) Guild Wars! What good is having a guild in a competitive game if you can't show that yours is #1, right? Guild Wars are a part of the new Guild system which pits Guilds against each other in a series of battles. There can be a leader board for guilds to display worldwide ranking. The way they could be triggered would be on the Guild House custom map I listed above. A Guild Master or someone whom has permission to do so can right click on a guild house an initiate a "Challenge X Guild to war!" command which would send a guild notification (preferably in color) to everyone in the guild. Those with permission can accept, and once they do another message detailing the terms would once again show to guild members. It'd ask those that wish to participate to head to the custom guild house map entry and talk to (insert guild wars NPC here) to initiate the war. The NPC then teleports those players to a specific part of the map in which Guild Wars take place. (There would probably have to be multiple, because I'm sure LOTS of GWs will be going on. They can be themed based if you want something flavorful, or simply basic arenas. 8 arenas in total (because I wouldn't wanna kill you guys with having to make tons of maps, although if you feel that that's best, more would be perfect) The "war" so to speak, is actually just a series of double battles between multiple members. Members of the same guild will have the option to team up with one of the 6 others in the stadium, and this cannot be changed once finalized. (There is also a time limit to make a choice. 30 seconds or the guild challenge times out and everyone gets sent back to the guild house custom map.) These particular battles have a 30 second time limit. If a player fails to make a move within 30 seconds, then their turn can be count as skipped, leaving them awfully vulnerable. There is also a Pokemon cap of 50 which automatically sets your Pokemon to the specified level if it doesn't meet these parameters. No Legendaries. There are up to 6 slots for each guild to enter (although the war can start with less of course), and two members from each guild are on the stadium stage at a time. The stage will have a hotspot that individuals are meant to step on to start the battle. (The command would be the same as an individual accepting a battle request) Once all four are on the hotspot, the battle immediately begins. There will be a scoreboard somewhere clearly visible to count the wins. Those not battling should have a "spectate battle" command or some sort. The Guild that reaches three wins first is declared the victor of the guild war and is awarded guild EXP as a result. The losers can possibly receive a lesser, insignificant amount. Music It'd be cool to have a slightly different soundtrack than what we're used to. (And even cooler to hear different battle themes. Rocket, Gym, Aqua/Magma etc." Youtuber GlitchxCity makes really cool Pokemon theme remixes that she allows others to use free as long as credit is given. A few of those would be a great addition imho. Channels Having different channels in which players could play on could prove to be somewhat useful. I believe it'd cut down on the lag somewhat, and make things less cluttered looking overall in terms of players being on your screen. Running Shoes I'm not sure if you get these later in the game, or what, but they would be so useful to have to be able to move faster than the average walking. Pokemon Interaction This isn't really anything vital at all, and is mostly just for fun. Much like in Heartgold and Soulsilver, interacting with a following pokemon yielded several responses. With the chat bubble emoticons, I think they'd be a great addition. Gifting System A really cool idea that would essentially make it possible for one person to transfer an item purchased with CC to another character. (Mounts, Clothes, etc) I appreciate you taking the time to read this list, and I hope it proves useful in helping with the next step of PRO.
