Hi there. First of all, regarding your first concern, those moves are completely different from each other and have their own corresponding strengths. However, that mindset won't really change how you level. You can always read more on those moves by doing ^info <move> in #bot-commands in our PRO Official Discord. You may also use websites like Bulbapedia.
