While I am in Sinoh, it shows that I am somewhere in between the sea.. Not on any island.. I logged out many times and then logged in. I even uninstalled the game and then reinstalled.. Unfortunately, there is no estimated time for when the map will be added. In the meantime, I would recommend searching for a Sinnoh map online and using that when necessary.
