Hey, i got a little problem. Like u see in the title i cant use any rod's in hoeen.

 

I have now the 4th badge and trying to fish in slateport city. But when i click on my rod's nothing happen. I tryed it in slateport and any other route with water.

 

Did i something miss that i cant fishing in hoeen? :(

To my knowledge, you need the 5th gym badge of hoenn, from Petalburg Gym, to fish in hoenn's waters.

Correct me, if I am wrong!

I am just a casual player, travelling around the regions, catching and hunting pokemons I find likeable~

Hi there. Upon checking your inventory, it doesn't seem that you have completed the Fire Gym. Please try to beat the gym leader and once doing so, try to fish. If you still can't fish and already have the Heat Badge, then please attach a screenshot of your trainer card below in response. Do remember that you have to place the rod in your inventory and use a hotkey to fish. Make sure you're next to/in water.
