I might be mistaken but today i faced 7 clefable in pvp with my gliscor and the damage were pretty weird.

 

When we both setup our pokes in fight, i start to sword dance 2-3 times while my opponent will calm mind 2-3 times. Then i start using earthquake and 5 out of the 7 times i dealt around 20% damage

 

Actually it seemed like whether sword dance had 0 effect on this fight or that calm mind boosted his def aswell.

 

Also by checking on damage calculator website, i get the same result telling me that i should ko clefable in 2 attack but i needed around 6-7 on my matches
