Speed EVs lost on lended Gyarados [SOLVED]

I lent a lv 97 adamant gyarados with ~180-190 attack and speed EVs (and random 2 in Sp Atk and 2 in HP) from EV training off pidgeys/ottos and bellsprout/weeps. When returned today, his speed EVs match his HP and Sp Atk ones at 2, ~180ish speed EVs lost. This contradicts the FAQ that EVs are returned to pre-lended values. His Attack EVs remain intact at 191.

 

Fixed at a heroic speed by the Devs, his speed EVs have returned to the pre-lended state!
