I have defeated team aqua and team magma in the rusturf tunnel, but I did not get the devon goods. I am thus not able to deliver the devon goods to the guy in glasses nex to the gym and start the letter to steven quest. Please help

Hi there. Please be sure to talk to the Old Man with Peeko after beating Team Aqua and Magma. This will allow you to get the Devon goods. Can you try this and let me know if you encounter further issues? For further information on Hoenn, feel free to check out the Hoenn Walkthrough.

Not at all. I did however do the quest before i defeated roxanne at the rustboro city gym. Maybe thats the reason why I did not get the devon goods

Hi there. You actually wouldn't have been able to go to the Route towards the cave until you've beaten the gym. Can you try to speak to the Old man outside the cave (If he's still there), then go to the Assistant then right next to MrStone to speak to him?
