Was at mt moon at the stage where i was supposed to fight jessie and james but they ran away without fighting me. ( find this weird because i had to fight them in my other account ) not sure if this is intended or if its a bug.

Jessie and James in Mt. Moon are only fighting with you IF you took Pikachu as your starter Pokemon.

I have the memory of Jessie and James fight me in Mt.Moon and Pikachu isn't my starter, (my starter is squirtle)

As you said. You had a catched Pikachu in your team. In their dialogue they ask you, if you are the guy with the Pikachu. If you have one, they will fight you, doesn't matter if its your start Pokemon or you caught one.
