Hello!

I'm kinda new to pokemon and don't know much, i made my way trough kanto kinda easely and now i'm at johto.

I'm having issue with leveling my pokemons, my team is between lvl18 and 23 and i'm currently at Azalea Town, i beated the Gym with big

difficulties and a lot of potion and lost a couple of time, i now have access to Ilex Forest but my team so weak i get my butt beated by a single

Farfetch’d from the quest.

 

My issue is that wild pokemon are so low lvl they don't give me enough EXP for leveling, i'm training at the Slowpoke Well where pokemon are up to lvl 11 , they give between 100 and 300exp/battle and i need like 4k exp for a single lvl which is really time consuming, maybe i'm missing a good spot ?

 

I'm also open to all kind of advises thank you ^^

Hi there. First of all, it's good to note that lower evolutions of pokemon gain levels faster. Furthermore, you should be able to train your pokemon on the trainers along the way to the next gym. Please be sure to battle each of them as it's really useful. There'll also be a quest in Goldenrod once you get there, which gives you many opportunities to train on trainers. However, if you still do not feel your team is good enough, outside of Goldenrod seems to be a good place along with slowpoke well or ilex forest. Also, I wouldn't recommend switching in pokemon for experience as it lowers the exp gain. It's better to use one pokemon to kill the opposing pokemon. Unfortunately, I know the leveling grind can be rather tedious but PRO is an MMO, which means that you'll have to 'grind' for most of your items, levels, etc.
