So the news reporter asked me for an empoleon which is indeed my ot. However i had changed my name in the recent name change so that might have interfered with how the ot is registered for the npcs. I dont know but any help is much appreciated.

Hi there, and sorry for your inconvenience.

The issue is due to having been renamed with this specific capitalization, SaxSlayer, which isn't recognized by the game as it only works with capital letter at the beginning and the rest in lower case. You will thus be renamed to Saxslayer.
