I'm sorry about this frustrating situation. Luckily, there are some ways to make money even as a beginner. Since you have defeated the third gym, you are able to do dig spots. These have a 3 day cool down (real time and not poke time). You will need a Pokemon that knows the move, Dig, and has 150 Happiness. You can check Happiness by using the command [iCODE]/happy 1-6[/iCODE]. The number that you enter depends on the placement of the Pokemon on your team. TM28 can be found for free in Cerulean House 6. Dig spots often contain various items that are sellable to the Item Maniac. He is located on Route 25. There is also a Star Piece that can be found in Mt. Moon B1F.
