You can have 2 accounts on the same email. Let the bulbasaur be your smurf and create a new one

Sorry Ralmn, but you can't reset your starter choice. This is to prevent players from resetting their starter choice until they get the perfect Pokémon with perfect IVs.

 

Don't be sad about starting with Bulbasaur! Bulbasaur was my very first Pokémon and it is the easiest one to start with. You'll be able to catch Squirtle and Charmander later in the game, so don't get discouraged.

 

As the other user mentioned, you could also create a new account if you really wanted to.
