Scammed by Icy Wind tutor

Featured Replies

I was in Seafoam Islands and talked to a swimmer who offered to teach the move Icy Wind for 5000 pokecoins. I didn't know what the damage/effects of the move were so I agreed and picked Quagsire only to see the description of the move. I decided that it was not worth learning as I already had Ice Beam and clicked the "do not learn Icy Wind" button, only to find out shortly after that I had already paid the 5000 pokecoins even though I did not want to learn the move. This is either a bug or should be changed, IMO.

lol seems u alr buy that skill and this is not bug.. be careful next time and study more about move..

Thanks for the reply. In this case I think this interactiion should be more intuitive, as "pretending" to want to learn a move is the easiest and quickest way of checking a move's stats right now.

Once the move learning page pops-up, it means the the npc has done his job. Which is wether you learn or do-not-learn it will count as "tutored" hence the money was taken.
