So i went to the pokeball via surfing and interacted with the pokeball.

It said the same as the other abandoned Pokemon (a regular old staryu...).

Then i got to the pokecenter and looked on the last slot of the pc. It wasn't there.

Then i though of relogging an tried again, didn't work.

So i looked Staryu on the search box and it isn't there.

Obviously it is not in my team either.

 

I need one with my OT for the Sinnoh questline and it is going to be a nightmare to get another one. Mainly because i lack a superod and have <1k money.

I would like to inform you that, as you stated, that the Abandoned Pokémon that you can find in Goldenrod City can be a Spinarak, or an Aryados.

Also, Staryu can be found, as an Abandoned Pokémon, in Olivine City.
