I just logged in with a test player account without waiting that ammount of time you are saying. Simply watch closely on the server status on the right and once it drops under 1900 try and login. I've tested it and I was waiting no longer than a minute to login. As long as there are those that remember what was, there will always be those that are unable to accept what can be.
