Guest UnknownUser11
So, since the release of Windows 10, alot of games, including PRO crash.. alot, this is due to drivers, and dx12 not being sorted out yet. I will show you below how to stop these crashes, by forcing the game to run in DirectX 9. (Or atleast this solved most game crashes for me in win 10) 1. Create a shortcut to the PRO exe and name it what ever you wish. 2. Next, right click your shortcut and goto properties, when you get there you will find a textbox that says "Target" and then the location of the PRO exe you created a shortcut for. What you will want to do is after the end of it, type -force-d3d9 as shown below 3. Hit Apply, and then run the shortcut you created. PRO will now run using directX 9 and should no longer crash due to buggy windows 10 and drivers

Neva
Windows 10 crash fix For those who have windows 10 issues Crash help Windows 10 Step 1 • Right specifications: Check if you have them on the Download Page • Operating Systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. • Graphics Card: DirectX9 or later with at least Pixel Shader 2.0 model support. • CPU: At least 1800 Mhz (single core). Tested on Intel Pentium 4. • RAM: 2GB+ machine is recommended even though PRO uses several times less. In rare cases, the game will take away 700MB RAM from your machine. • Display: Lowest resolution is 800x600 and highest is 5k (tested by Red). Step 2 • Update your drivers: Check if your (graphical) drivers are up to date. (IObit's Driver Booster 2 scans your PC for out-of-date drivers and updates them for you. >> Download here <<) Step 3 • Use Compatibility Mode -> Windows 7 or 8 - Right click on the program's shortcut (LNK file), .EXE file, BAT file, CMD file, or MSI file. - Click on Properties. - Click on the compatibility mode. (see screenshot below) NOTE: If the Compatiblity options are grayed out, then it is a 64 bit program and cannot be changed. - To Run a Program in Compatibility Mode in Only your User Account NOTE: Runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows. Try this setting if you know the program is designed for (or worked in) a specific previous version of Windows. Check the Run this program in compatibility mode for box. Djoux
Re: Windows crash fix <r>If you are still having crash : <br/> <br/> <IMG src="https://i.imgur.com/C3bpa7a.jpg"><s></e></IMG><br/> <br/> Do : CTRL ALT DELETE, go there, go in task manager tyen "details", select PRO64 or PRO32, right click, set affinities, tick UC 0 only. You must redo this every time you launch the game because the settings don't save.<br/> <br/> I can play 10H straight without having a single crash thanks to that. None of the other methods worked so try it out</r>
