Bug Catching Contest Possible Bug?

Was doing Bug catching contest 15 minutes ago and when my safari timer ran out I was not teleported out to the lobby instantly. It seems that I was still able to walk around as well as catch pokemon without any restriction. Just wanted to address it so it can't be taken advantage of. I added a picture showing that I was still allowed in there, didn't get a video unfortunately.

Follow up, I attempted to exit through the guards south of the area, and the lobby itself is bugged out too, I am stuck trying to talk to the contest judge, no speech is appearing, and I cannot move anywhere. I also cannot access my backpack to try to escape rope.

 

Update: Logging out and back in let me get out of the lobby.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Could you please clarify if you were able to encounter Pokémon while you were still inside the bug catching area or if you could not encounter any of them?

Yes, I was still able to encounter pokemon after the timer had run out. I am not certain if it would have let me keep the pokemon because I did not catch any more after that. I hope this helped
