PvP = short for player versus player.

PvE = short for player vs environment / can be wild pokemons or npcs (like gym leader or bosses).

Q.What are pvp coins?

A. PvP (Player versus player) are the coins which were given to players as a reward of winning PvP ranked match, Therefore, you can also purchase mount,items,cloths, etc by this coins.

 

Q.What are PvE coins?

A. PvE (Player versus Environment) coins are earned from in game activities. The main source for these coins is the Battle Tower. There are several other ways to obtain them as well. Similarly to PvP coins, players can collect and exchange them for various rewards.

 

Q.How to earn PvP coin?

A. The obtention of these coins is governed by one's success in ranked PvP battles.

 

Q.How to earn PvE coins?

A. You can earn them by doing Bug contests, Summer Guardian, etc.
