Im told that i need to get this scanner from wendy to get the deep sea tooth, but i can't find the deep sea tooth in the room where its supposed to be, and Wendy is asking me "Have you given him the Scanner?

So my first quistion is: Who is it that i need to deliver this Scanner to.

My second: why dont i have the scanner and blobby item thats going to be a deep sea scale/tooth in my bag, when they're not a there normal locations..

And third: how do i make the Blobby (Cant remember its name) item turn into a Deep sea tooth or scale??

First, You need to deliver the scanner to Captain Stern.

For your second question, you couldn't proceed to that part unless you fulfilled the first task.

If you're having a hard time, I recommend you to look for some guides regarding the quest you took.
