Tylerchu
My "Ratty" Solution to an Organized PC The Background Hello Trainers! So you all might be familiar with how the PC system works in PRO. While functional, it's not very player-friendly at the moment, is it? It has such quirky features as: Deposting a Pokémon in the PC will put it in the first empty slot available, at the far end of your boxes Withdrawing a Pokémon from the PC will remove that slot from your PC, with all the other filled slots shifting over one to the left to take its place You're able to swap a Pokémon from the PC with one in your Party to get around losing that PC slot, using your Party Pokémon as a temporary placeholder (this is done by dragging the PC Pokémon onto the one in your Party that you'd like to swap it with, but this cannot be done the other way around) You can organize the PC by Default (order in which you deposited them in), Name (alphabetically), and Level (lowest to highest) However, regarding the Name and Level organization features, they only correlate to each standalone Box, meaning an Abra and Shinx in Box 1, and a Slowpoke and Bellsprout in Box 2, will be organized as Abra ---> Shinx in Box 1, and Bellsprout ---> Slowpoke in Box 2 (Box 1 would have to be filled completely with Pokémon to get to Box 2, but this is just an example) There is a Search function that you can use to type the name of the Pokémon that you wish to find, but you have to enter its full name entirely, with no misspellings, to find it As far as I've seen, because of these shortcomings, most players seem to organize their PC boxes very little to not at all, doing things like keeping legendaries together, or their frequently used Pokémon together, but that's about it. For collectors like myself, this is extremely detrimental to my organizational standards. In the core series games, I organize my PC by National Dex number, filling empty spaces later on as I catch more Pokémon, eventually leading to a living Pokédex stored in my PC. Once again, I'm not complaining about the current status the game. I think it's amazingly fun and I fully support what the Dev team and the rest of the Staff are doing. However, I needed to figure out a way to scratch the organizational itch I had regarding the PC system, and I settled on doing something a little bit... ambitious (or perhaps drastic). I thought I'd share it with all of you! The Solution That's right. I absolutely filled my PC with Rattata, and replaced the ones with the correctly-organized Pokémon that I already had (numerically, based on their National Dex numbers, of course). There are 809 Pokémon in existence thus far (minus the new region coming out), and 807 available in the PRO Pokédex. Sure, you may not be able to see/catch all of them in the game at the moment, but not including their slots in the PC would wreck havoc on this organizational method, so they're still accounted for (I'm contemplating whether to replace the "cannot obtain" Rattata slots with Unown instead!). What did this accomplish? Well now, I have the ability to maintain a National Dex-organized PC by simply using Rattata as constant placeholders for the Pokémon I want to withdraw from it. When I'm done with the Pokémon I withdrew, I just swap it back with the Rattata that replaced it. Simple! (let's just hope I don't accidentally withdraw a Pokémon without swapping it with a Rattata - it'll lose its slot and I'll have to manually swap every Pokémon in the PC all the way back up to slot 807!) In addition, I found some pretty decent Rattata along the way (but spoiler alert: none are Epic, and none are Shiny. Crazy, right? My luck must be horrid). Finally, I managed to gather 292 Rattata Hair (from the Officer Jenny Quest in Viridian City), since I caught the last 600+ or so on Route 1. They're not worth anything, I just thought it was silly. So how did I do it? Well, I spent about 15 hours in total working on this project, starting with the capture of nearly 850 Rattata; I actually hit the PC slot limit of 900 in the process. I ended up spending ₽100,000+ on Pokéballs to accomplish this. Once satisfied with the number of rats, I withdrew each Pokémon from the PC that wasn't a rat, and deposited them in the very back behind all the Rattata. Then, one by one, I started replacing Rattata with their correct National Dex-numbered Pokémon that I'd already captured, until I'd organized all my existing Pokémon. I kept my Shinies at the end, after slot 807, as they'd mess up the numerically-organized PC if I had them with their non-shiny counterparts. I decided my doubles/tradeworthy Pokémon would go after the Shinies, since I'll more than likely be sending them elsewhere in the near future anyway. Finally, I combed through every Rattata I caught, and hand-selected the best ones that can be used for PvP/Story. This brings me to my next section... The Spoils This isn't intended to be a Trade post, but as you can imagine, I ended up with a lot of Rattata that some people may want to adopt. With that said, I'll post my favorites here under Spoiler tags, and if anyone's interested in taking one home, feel free to find me ingame (Gold Server), or in the official PRO Discord, under the same username. We can negotiate the price. I'll organize these rats on a scale of just how many factors the Rattata missed Epic status by. I define "Epic" as having the appropriate Nature and Ability for optimal combat performance, as well as 25+ in all IVs. For every aspect a Rattata is lacking from being Epic, including each separate IV, a missed factor is added onto their rating. I decided that if they had either the preferred Rattata ability, or the preferred Raticate one, I'd accept it as a pass. Finally, I included some special mentions below the final missed factor spoiler. So, without further ado, here are the spoils! [spoiler=Missed by 1 Factor] Literally none. Even with 850 Rattata, none of them missed "Epic" status by just 1 factor. I guess I'm no Youngster Joey. [spoiler=Missed by 2 Factors] [spoiler=Missed by 3 Factors] [spoiler=Still "Okay" for PvP or Story] The Conclusion While very tedious, I actually had fun accomplishing this little goal of mine. I was able to scratch that organizational itch! However, I do not recommend anyone else do this, because wow that took effort. You may be better off simply waiting until the game has a PC management update, if if ever will. Regardless of what you choose to do, I appreciate you taking the time to read about my silly project! Dastoks
I think even when its a bit under-rated by most players nowadays, PC rework will make a tremendous QoL update for PRO players. Having the ability to sort by categories or have a different method of input\output then the current magazine will make a huge change that i really hope i could see ingame soon :) You made a sick mission here my friend, i hope you could make some money out of your Rattata's hair ! :D

Tylerchu
People were skeptical in chat when I was raving about it, so I appreciate the kind words, friends! xD Update: I've since started filling out my Pokédex to get to Love Island. All those Kanto Pokémon coming in all at once would've been a nightmare to sort manually, so I'm heckin' glad I decided to do this now!
