I would like to inform you that you are able to enable/disable the chat by clicking on the chat-setting icon in the botto-right part of the chat. Once you have opened the chat-settings, make sure to have enabled the Trade Chat and that you don't have more than 6 chats enabled as that's the maximum number you can have.
