Game keeps disconnecting me very frequently WHEN using Skype

Featured Replies

So I recently started playing PRO again and I am often on skype (yes I know discord exists and all that but not all my friends want to use that).

My issue is that the game will work fine for hours upon a time with no issues or disconnects whatsoever but the moment I launch the skype .exe the game just starts disconnecting me.

It can happen as soon as I launch skype, 15 minutes after and then whenever it feels like it. It is not a consistent problem as in it happening after X amount of time. It's totally random but very frequent.

I have reinstalled the game on two different hard drives to see if that fixed it,

I reinstalled skype aswell.

I disabled the firewall,

I tried to re-allow PRO in the firewall aswell,

I tried to see if my router was the issue so I rebooted it.

I rebooted my computer multiple times throughout the day

None of the above fixed or helped the problem.

The only thing that'll make it stop is when I close skype completely.

Any ideas on why it's causing this? I myself can only think of ports being an issue but I have no clue how or why

Hi @ArkhAngell

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Could you please tell me if you are then able to log back into the game instant after you get disconnected? If not, what is the error that pop-up when you try to log in the game?

Looking forward to your reply, have a wonderful day !

Hello, thanks for coming around to help!

I have to wait for a solid 10 minutes to be able to get back in most of the time, on rare occassions it has been 5 minutes.

when I press log in all it says is "logging in" for maybe 2 seconds and then says "connection lost"

it's always the exact same connection lost, nothing else.

My internet is working perfectly fine on anything else like I stated above, even during the incident
