I am sorry for the inconvenience.

 

Nikola now allows you to re-summon each legendary once You need to beat it and it summons the legendary you want to battle and catch.

Bear in mind that he will only restore the legendary this way once, whether or not you manage to capture it.

Please make sure to not kill it again, since you won't have a chance to catch it if that happens. Also, you didn't need the 15 fire gems anymore, Nikola will allow you to catch him once you beat him.

At the moment there isn't any other way except Nikola. You were given a first chance and Nikola provides a second one.

I agree that Nikola isn't the easiest amongst the bosses, but still defeating him is very much possiblle.
