does 2 different pkmn with same stat will always have the same strength i mean by that a vulpix who's got the same stat than arcanine for exemple will these two be on same streght, or one will always be one more powerfull than the other?

 

Im new i want to know if it matter if i train my pokemon with good stat or shoud i wait to get "the good one" at the end on the games?
