Take the time to correctly xp your team before trying the next gym: if you lose once to a gym leader, you'll lose the possibility to gain the xp yielded by his/her pokemons (and money, 'cause, you know.. black out) :p

Besides, farming wild pokemons will be your best way to gain money, and you'll need it for some elements handy in the game :Smile:
