I saw some else post regarding this last year (https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/130623-url). A response said to revert to land form to teach Earth Power then transform to sky form to have Earth Power. Since Smogon has Shaymin Sky with Earth Power, I assumed this was possible. When I tried to transform back into sky form, it said that Earth Power would be forgotten? Is this a bug? Thanks!

Note: Other people have gotten Earth Power on their Shaymin-Sky

Sorry for the inconvenience and the long wait. I checked with our Team and that Thread you posted was from a time before all Shaymins were move reseted. Shaymin can learn Earth Power only in its Land Form. Therefor it's an illegal move on Shaymins Sky Form. I hope that helped :-)

Ah okay, though if it is illegal, why is it on a suggested set on Smogon and a valid move in Pokemon Showdown? Also, Shaymin Sky seems to be unable to learn Synthesis

Yeah, sorry bout that. I replied too fast. It can learn it in the Original Games by changing Forms so that will be fixed. The change needs to be tested first so I will let you know as soon as the change has been made and is live.

 

About the Synthesis: Shaymin learns Synthesis by level up, so just try the Move Relearner ;-)

Good to hear. Might I suggest a Shaymin/Earth Power move tutor be places right next to the obelisk in Route 224? The journey all the way to Tohjo Falls in rather strenuous for my mount.

I will forward it to my Colleagues. Can't make any promises though.
