New players

Hi i just started to play this game and there are few things i don't like.

1. There isn't starter pack it would be nice that new players get some exp boost and some items on start. I'm sure no1 don't like to be stuck and lvl up this slow on start i understand for later game is fine but this is really slow.

2. I think that it would be nice in 1st and 2nd gym for player to see what lvl pokemons gym leader have. I played before pokemon games so i know for 1st gym Mankey lvl 17 can spam low kick and beat all rock type, also if you get Pikachu is easy to finish 2nd gym but there are some new player that don't know.

3. I don't know about events do you have them or not but you should make something where you will tell that same event is active or did some event pass. Also you can tell us about events that you have in plan.

2. It's meant to push you to be ready before challenging gyms

3. This happens in the forum and in the news panel in the game login page.

1. A "free starter pack" isn't needed at all I feel, wanting freebies isn't bad, but you won't get them.

 

2. It's supposed to add a dynamic feel for it; if the first two were levels then the rest were ??, we'd have people here complaining about that.

 

3. Events are advertised on the news when you log in, as well as on the forum.

our goal here is to create a pokemon game with a better difficulty curve than the handhelds. we feel they are too easy, and many of us can beat them blindfolded.
