I am a returning player from 3 years ago, upon enquiring in the discord channel on how I can get up and running, I have merged my red and blue server thought neither of them had any information on them. When i started up the game i have zero pokemon or items ect. I know I donated back in the day and brought a few items ect.

Is it maybe possible that you were a Yellow Server Player? Cause it looks like all you Progress is on Gold Server now. The Merge is only necessary for Silver Server because Red and Blue Server were merged to Silver and Yellow just became Gold. :-) So please try to log into Gold and let me know if that solved your Problem.
