I can't exactly find where the benefits are listed so I'm making a post. I've heard that you can't find certain rares unless you're a member and I'm trying to figure out if that's a myth..

So I'm able to find Shinx just outside of Pallet town if I'm not a member correct? Someone kept saying that you need to be members to find Shinx outside of Pallet town...
