Hi,

 

I'm trying to trade pokemon with a friend (at this moment, mainly for evolving purposes) but i can't. First, when i double click on his nickname (in my friends list tab), nothing's showing, for some reason. So he has to initiate whetever we'd like to do (battle, trade, chat). When he does so, he's said that we both need to be in a Pokecenter, and we are, and both have 4 badges (actually even more).

Also, it's worth mentionning that when he tries to PM me, he's told that my messaging is off, though i've never turned it off (and i don't even know how to do so).

 

We haven't tried with any other player yet as we're quite new to the game.

did you check if you are in online mode ? ( in your social menu, at the bottom of the window, you can check to appear online or offline)

Yes, i am. And changing it to away/offline and back again doesn't help.

By the way, i can battle my friend, and talk in a channel, only PM and Trading doesn't work.

Does your friend have all 4 badges?

We both do. He has 5, i have 6.

And you are certain you are inside a pokemoncenter when you try to trade?

Allright, for some reason, it now works. I logged in on his computer, and him on mine, and he couldn't send me the invitation but i could. I guess this is a client-based issue, but no idea why and how...
