Pepperslicer
Hi all, This is the first time i'm creating a topic so if there are any mistakes sorry in advance. I've been trying to encounter a pokemon with a rarity tier of 8 for an hour but i've had no luck. So i was wondering if the actual odds of encountering a pokemon with its respective rarity tier are knowable. (for example 1 in 1000 for 8th tier, 1 in 2000 for 9th tier and so on) I've checked this page but it only shows the description of the tiers. Even a rough approximation would suffice really. G3n3r4l
The rarity is random, and the math behind it isn't public information. Sometimes you can get a high tier quickly, other times you can't get one for a while
Pepperslicer
Why is it not public though?

Noxious
12 hours ago, PepperSlicer said: . Hey there! Wild Pokemon encounters in PRO are based on RNG (Random Number Generator), meaning every encounter will be random. Spawns are in different Tiers, meaning the higher the Tier of a Pokemon is, the less likely it is for you to encounter it. As G3n3r4l already mentioned, the actual numbers aren't public, but the Tiers are enough to get a feeling for the actual rarity. I hope this clarified some things for you. If you happen to have more questions on the topic, feel free to let me know. I hope you have a great day.
