how to catch wild pokemon for dummies

Featured Replies

Super Fang can be also very useful if you don't have access to false swipe. Reduces it's current HP by 50% everytime you use it. Patrat and Rattata are the earliest ones that you can catch that uses this move.

I always lower their health (If my poke is way higher level, just use a not-very-effective attack) then put it to sleep with my Oddish. I always catch what I wanna catch. Also, a PokeBall is just as good as a GreatBall if health is low enough. Don't buy Great Balls.

In my opinion the best catching pokemon is paras/parasect.

It not only learn spore and false swipe, but it also has hidden ability damp which prevents wild pokemon from using selfdestruct moves.

kombo=heavenlol? also i want to like your post but i cant ;-; i cri

and apparently there is some script saying min damage on s fang is 1 so once you get it down to 1hp the next super fang is a kill unlike swipe. s fang works great for lower level easier to catch things before you get a swiper, but when trying to capture a legendary swipe>fang.

@crimson isnt swipe a egg move on paras? did they implement egg moves somewhere?
