There is not as there are a lot of children on this game, and people would usually put terrible innuendos and inappropriate names as the nicknames of their Pokemon. So in conclusion, they thought it'd be better to not have them as an option.

maybe someday they'll be able to code that the user can see the nickname but the opponent can't, would be a good sollution i think :Grin:
