  1. Bruh. Good points, agreed. But... you are comparing to official Pokemon games where money was never an issue, could always reload a save state... did I say never worry about money yet? Right. in PRO, you should know how hard it is to make money. I am broke, 200k. I wasted so much money on trying to catch a Beldum which was beyond trash. Every dollar is valuable in PRO, not in official. I am not asking for it to be easy, keep this floating through your head. I am asking to be adjusted to PRO, not the official game. Okay then let's keep it as a gift Pokemon. No one could possibly whine about that, right?
  2. 1) Anything spawn rate 2) Was available end game most of the time with BP; completely irrelevant. I'd rather no one complain and the only way to receive Beldum was to beat the Xhaj Boss on the Abandoned Ship if this were the case. That way, it'd keep it's functionality as a gift Pokemon. I mean, that's what it was, right? A one time gift Pokemon? You're lucky it's in the wild to begin with.
  3. This post is going to go the same way as my Excavation site increase in price post, but anyways. Beldum's catch rate has always been absurd. It's nothing new. It was your choice to catch it and if you want to take the chance with the amount of Poke/Great/Ultra balls, be my guest. But please please PLEASE do not complain about it being garbage after you catch it. The whole reason that breeding isn't in the game is to keep rare Pokemon rare. Beldum's catch rate is what makes it unique and rare in a sense. If you're purposefully bothering with a Pokemon that has a 0.3% catch rate with a moderate possibility of it's IVs being garbage, that is your own problem; not the game's.
  4. How can this be abused, when you basically only get a baby pokemon that exactly the same as your original pokemon? Accidentally evolving a pokemon knowing that it shouldn't be evolved is different from evolving a pokemon, then realized that it shouldn't. Will doing research before raising a pokemon prevent a server crash? Moreover, the reason I wanted the pokemon to reverse to its baby form is that I don't want the process of "fixing" a ruined pokemon become so easy. By reverting it back to a lvl 5 baby pokemon, you'd lost the time and effort you put into the pokemon, all the TMs and RCs you used; the NPC that doing the reverting could charge a fee too. So the player should consider all of that and decide if it worth to revert the pokemon back, or just hunt for another. .... Your reasoning is literally just finding a new one lol. We already have this in the game. It's literally just walking in the grass. If you're purposefully throwing your RC and TMs into a Pokemon just to 'revert" it back to level 5.. you're actually a complete moron. I can't talk to someone like that. So I'm done debating this dumbo idea.
  5. It really isn't.. If you missed a move, that's your fault. You should take the blame for it. I messed up with my Bellossom by getting rid of Sleep Powder after evolving it, thinking I could get it back. The whole point of this game is to grind and to accept your mistakes. This game is fairly notorious for making sure you do your research before doing anything. If you don't take the time to do a little research about the Pokemon you're training, that's on you. No one else.
  6. I don't run talonflame at all, lol. It's not the fault of other players if /you/ don't adapt. i didn't say it's other people's fault for using it, i just suggest banning gale wings before focus sash becoming more available. or pvp will always has tons of talonflames and make it boring. i just want to make pvp more interesting and exciting. So you choose not to run something w/ Rock Slide and is a bulky ground/rock type? Nice!
  7. Re: Akatsuki ☁ [Recruiting from Red Server] <t>1. What is your IGN? My IGN is Jakeyyboy<br/> 2. Do you meet our requirements? Yes. I'm active, have beaten every Elite Four thus far, and I have 300+ hours in game.<br/> 2. Why should we accept you? You should accept me because I'm active on PRO most of the day as long as I have things to catch and if I have people to talk to, and because I can be active on Discord all the while which could enhance my ability to stay on PRO for as long as possible.<br/> 3. Do you vow to to place your loyalty upon this guild, even when things go wrong? You can have my word, as a ninja, that I will stay no matter what happens.</t>
  8. Moves, abilities and items should be 100% important.
  9. then you say you should build teams based on the absence of rules, not the pokemon you want to play, how it should be in different gaming platforms.? What does that even mean? How does that correlate to what I said?
  10. Haha lucky for you, there are no banned Pokemon! There's a bugged moves/abilities list from as far as I'm aware on this forum so look out for that.
  11. If you want a sleep clause, at least go with the proper one and only allow 1 sleeping Pokemon allowed at any given time.
  12. Not commenting on my statistics, I c. Your reasoning is "haha stupid cry baby boy xDDDD". But okay!
  13. yes man, that's a joke :p ahhh!! you just touch them! you touch the joke man! oh i've never been so wrong, so you are on the 10% people side now? Its too much but you still enjoying it everyday right? :)) Are you that dumb? you said yourself "Why put something in when it's going to be wasted for nothing?" and yet you still doing it? Oh yeah! you have never said that you wouldn't do them 'directly'. But, you cry so much and yet still doing it right? what are you then? a cry-baby? In that case, i want to say sorry. I feel so silly to debate a baby. What do you dislike more Futz. Ignorant people or stubborn people? Again, missed the point big boy. I never said I wasn't going to do them. I'm defending the newer players and the moderately less newer players. Content is meant to be done. Every bit of content on PRO involves Pokemon and a lot less money, until now. Just as it should be. This one involves more sinkage of money, which they could've used for other purposes considering, like I've said and still yet to be proven wrong, is mostly ultra/great balls, fresh waters, and vitamins. What is statistically wrong about what I've said? They don't want to drain money into something that they can't afford. If they miss days, they'll make more money eventually, sure. But that's not the point of even buying the permit in the first place. They shouldn't have put in such a great deal of money for such little rewards at the beginning. That was the argument beforehand and before they even bothered changing the spawns a bit more, all of which were mostly items. If you want to correct my math, I usually got 3-4 Pokemon per site, smashed rocks/pokemon, and about 10-15 different items. It's like there's a huge difference, isn't there! Maybe 1-2 of those items are sellable in a total of 4 sites, which have gone down in price. (The price of RC on Red is 12k from what I've normally seen btw, might just be the time of day). Read b4 you talk pls. Nice witch hunt btw. I bring up a topic and get called a baby because literally the first half of the posts were "oh i'm discouraged so I'm not going to do them anymore." EDIT: Also check the dates on those posts btw. At least 2-3 days ago when they were like that ;). Pay attention.
  14. Again.. you're missing the point. Even if it's worth it at that point, that's still 340k as of right now for the first 6 days. I'm willing to bet a good 40-50% of the PRO community doesn't have that kind of money to spend for the result to be that good within that time frame, not to mention it's heavily RNG based. You're not guaranteed the money back at all, but sure you can make some back if you get lucky.
  15. because TS are joke That's a real good one considering I never said I wouldn't do them. I'm vouching for the people who have little and cannot participate in such because of such a high income at the beginning with little to no reward, even if it gets better because there is nothing to vouch for. Good work for making yourself look silly.
  16. Finding Cubone and Kanga at Feral Path now. Probably changed the spawns. Again.
  17. He does have a point but seems that you missed it. Let me try to explain what I got. ''It's not mandatory to enter the excavation site'' means that you don't have to go there so importantly. It offers a way to get some pokes and items which even requires high risks. There are other ways as well, do them instead if you don't want to go there. If you fail, you can try again as much as you want. Some players said that (unless i'm drunk) there are Pokemon that are only available there, but you can try buy them from players if you don't want to waste your time on excavation sites. Too expensive? Try to sacrifice something good for it. No? Wait for their values to go a bit down. No? Look for a generous seller. No? Wait for Auction House. No? Ugh, no other options lol. And there will be more contents for PVP and PvE in Hoenn soon, it's been like two weeks since the release of Hoenn. So, don't lose your cool and patience. Give staffs a break, will you please? They just added Hoenn and you are already throwing wastes at them for just one content? Ugh. Peace. I'm not saying you're not right, but the whole point of content, again, is to do it. Why put something in when it's going to be wasted for nothing? I was surprised too when it was 1k for when some players were getting some pretty cool stuff, however like I said, it was swept out from under us. No announcement in game, or on the forum. It wasn't even mentioned in the patch notes, so it seemed like they tried to hide it, which they did. That's shady. You can't just make a drastic change w/o telling the community about it. It just isn't right even if things are subject to change. I would have been fine if it were a bit of in an increase but 5k - 10k is a lot to some players especially when it equals up to 40k a day. Sure, it pays for itself in time. But for the time it doesn't? Until you reach 1k~ish discoveries, you don't really get much of anything. You're spending 200k-320k a week for nothing essentially, for items you could buy normally that aren't that price.
  18. The only thing I have to say to you is because you can grind the money at doesn't make it a money sink :)))))). No more talking for you dumb boi.
  19. and what are those? I mean, all the teleports. Lilycove to Vermillion, Dragon's Den Membership, the Subway, the teleportation in Hoenn. Do I really have to go on? how can something that only been up for about a week causing inflation? its a very bold claim you made without any clear prove or reason. Rare candy drops and all the Pokemon that people get lucky with. You do realize only 2-4 Pokemon are exclusive to the sites, correct? you made a bold claim without any prove or reason, and said "Literally, you all have these weird abrupt claims" really?? You did, clearly. Maybe you should read over what you said before talking. and for simotofu i want ask you again in case you dont read my previous reply. how does "its an advantage for futz and other"?
  20. The main problem I see in this thread is people are assuming anybody who thinks that 5-10k is to much also wants the price at 1k. They are then attacking these people because they think by agreeing with the mods they are doing right by the game itself. The mods can be wrong, this change could be bad, it is ridiculous to assume the majority of people can afford 40k a day with an initial cost of 100k, to use something that is supposed to be daily content. A more manageable price exists and it isn't 1k or 10k. E x a c t l y. I have never once said in this thread I wanted it back to the way it used to be. I said I wanted a price decrease. That could've been whatever. I even said on like the 2nd or 3rd page, that it should've been 2.5k-3k for the normal sites and 5k for the others. I just don't get how people can sheepishly lean onto the mods with comfort with no explanation what so ever other than "stop cry ok??? it worth in longrun bcos i friends with mod keep change :DD" it literally makes no sense at all. If they actually took the time to read the post, that is not what I'm vouching for in the slightest. The change was so drastic and out of the way that all it did was make newer/moderately older players discouraged to ever touch them again and with the veterans, "haha more 4 me". Such a toxic mentality.
  21. Yeah sure, im the one who started using aggressive words in this thread. xd Come on. xd Actually u are the one doing it. xd The good old statistics argument. :P U blaming me for which statistics im using, which do u use mr. 1-5% ? :) Im quoting shane here: So yes, u actually had to expect a change in prices. Or u had to wait before u go to hoenn. And im sry, beta is the totally right argument. Especially for the new region. So as u can see its made for the players who can afford it, like u a long-time player of this game, its not part of the original hoenn and not made for everyone who just plays for 2 months and who mostly dont have enough money. And dont get me wrong i would be angry too if i payed 100k and the next day they change the entry prices by a lot. But they had to do it at one point if they want to change it and then other ppl would be affected by it. Well i keep posting here if i feel i want to, even if u tell me with your young, harsh words to keep myself out of the thread just because i think its a good idea.^^ So again: I like the change, pls keep it.:) Fighting fire with fire, right? ;). I made the claim of statistics because at least I can prove that the decrease in people in the sites is literally 80%. The point of end game is NOT to grind money for some dailies. End game is literally PvP; it shouldn't be in-game content that can be accessed the minute you complete Hoenn. That is not end game. Look at other games; what is their end game? To grind out dailies? No. They do raids, dungeons, etc. for gear. Dailies are meant for everyone to enjoy and you completely missed the point of it. You're right, not everything is finalized. I'm not arguing that.. again, missing the point C O M P L E T E L Y. If you read anything, you'd know at least maybe 5% of what I've talked about. I'll let you scroll through some old comments before you decide to use your hands again.
  22. So because it is free nobody is allowed to criticize or complain about mechanics in the game? What if they decided to delete everyone's account or wipe money at that point am I still supposed to be grateful that the hours I put in were wiped away because it is a free game(which has micro transactions, free or not they are gaining revenue from)? They do provide a service that is creating and maintaining the game but their is certainly an interest to make money, as they have a cash shop that is expanding. As such they have an interest with people being critical of there game and giving them feedback on how they feel about changes. Telling people they should feel grateful is pretty ridiculous and seems like some white knighting, regardless of what your true intentions are that is how it comes off. The game developers benefit from people having controversial opinions and giving them push back on changes, all of these things are good and are a sign of a healthy community. You will never make everybody happy, but having people who will give honest feedback to try and improve the game are vital. Shutting those people down and telling them to be "grateful" instead is a disservice to the game and the community overall. Also to your second point that "Staff have obviously thought things out with this" I disagree, first of all they have been working on hoenn for quite some time now and i assume this mechanic has been worked on quite a bit. With that in mind they changed the pricing within a matter of days of release without having seen how the lower price would actually effect the game. They also bumped the price by huge margins. This shows a lack of insight when making the system originally and having no understanding of how it would effect the game, so with months to create a manageable price they failed to do so (I agree that 1k is to low) and now within days of release they update it again with a price that is even worse. I think 1k was obviously to low but 40k a day is a bit 2 much one week of excavating costs almost 300k, one month is 1.1m, with the current conversion of (300k per ms) $ to in-game money that is $20 a month to excavate. I understand that this is a money drain but it is still to much. The 5k sites should be moved to 3k and the 10k sites to 5-6k, assuming you keep the rarity of items/Pokemon the same. While I am sure the Mods are looking at this issue I usually do not post on the forums but this was a part of the game I thought was pretty creative, and I think they changed it for the worse. +1. I'm not saying there shouldn't be a sinkhole at all in this post, I'm literally saying they shouldn't have made the change so drastic and radical and you are literally one of the only people who has gotten that. Thank you.
  23. You and everyone who clearly don't have an opinion and kiss butt to every change; people can havbe opinions. Clearly as you are having one right now. If we want to be mad, we're going to be mad. If you don't care and think we should just appreciate the staff and lick their cheeks, then you can do so. No one has to follow you. Free game has nothing to do with IN GAME CURRENCY for one. To everyone else, you guys still don't get any of the points I'm making and mostly just saying "haha crying" so I'm not going to talk to brick walls anymore and ignore you simpletons. Like you guys are actually 10 years old. If there is no valid argument other than "haha crying and worth may b in running of the long xDDDDDD" then you have no argument. The whole point of this post was to help newer players aid their way so they can someday be rich too, however you all are over stepping the point and making it a ridiculous claim of nothingness. All of you seem like you've never played online games before and this is the only one. You do realize because there is a change, doesn't mean we have to abide by it ????????? Look at games like WoW, Dragon Nest, Wildstar, ESO, etc. 2 free games and 2 paid for games. The main reason in both is that they're grinders and you have to do things in order progress onwards with gear, quests, etc. We have sinkholes in MANY different forms in this game, and we don't really need another, especially at the cost of half the player base. The people who ARE using it, already have mills stacked up just in case. The cause of the inflation is literally THE SITES. It's "money sinks" for having to go in causing less, but it's causing the inflation. Literally, you all have these weird abrupt claims of "ahha worth in long run stop cry xddd" but fail to see that you have literally no idea what you're talking about either. Again, this is about POKEMON and not ITEMS. I wish I could talk to someone sophisticated about this and didn't have to talk to the 3 Stooges over and over again.
  24. Sure, maybe for now. If the changes affected the money, they can affect the rare candy drops as well. Actually as a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure they've already messed with the rare candy income considering I got up to 7 yesterday and 1 today, and I hope to see just about 1-2 the next day as well. The vitamins are cool and all, but you can buy them ANYWHERE. I shouldn't have to pay 10k just for vitamins, fresh waters, and ultra balls. If I wanted to do that, I'd go to a PokeMart, not to a site where the whole point of them is to catch Pokemon. Rare candies will drop in price (Which they already have from 20k each to 12-15k each in a SINGLE DAY), I can't imagine how much they'll be in a month from now, making them completely unusable for selling or a source of income to back up what the prices are now for even attempting the sites. I get that the whole point of these sites are for "the long run" but people can't attempt the long run without a source of income provided elsewhere, which I guarantee 40-50% of the playerbase does not. If they're going to accommodate the 40k per run, 100k permit, with rare candies that will and have dropped in price over the course of literally a day or two, then I see no point. There is no long run if you're literally losing millions within the month just to hit the soft spot at the end.
