Pallet Town problem

Hmm, ok...

So...

I'm reporting this, even though the problem is probably my own doing. But just in case it is not...:

Wipe was today, afaik. I spawned a Pokemon for myself, checked some things, decided to go to Oak and get starter.

Problem 1: He didn't give me starter, cause I already had one. I know this normally wouldn't be possible. But still.

Problem 2: As a result, he didn't continue to give me a Pokedex, either. So I conjured one.

Problem 3: Upon trying to leave the town, it suggest I check on Eevee. Which isn't there. (I'm assuming this is because the prerequisite dialogue never took place, to trigger it?)

EDIT: I went back to the player house, talked to Mom, (hadn't done that yet), tried to leave, she told me to pick up the balls upstairs, did that, left, Eevee was there, all is well in the pokeverse.
