Pokemon Generation Base

Featured Replies

What Generation is Pokemon Revolution Online, if any, based on? Does the game include some of the newer move sets found in some of the more recent games? Does Revolution follow the same IV and EV rules as others or does it follow its own set of rules?

Thanks!

From what i can tell with my 20 hours of play, the first 100 pokemon in the national dex are all on gen six style movesets so i assume they follow gen 6. anything over 100 follows gen 5. As for IV EV stats it seems to follow mainstream on how it works seeing as pidgeys and spearows and rattata's give speed EV's as they should.

Just a wannabe trainer no one special. One day I'm going to be the best there is!

Art style-wise, 3rd/4th gen. Gameplay mechanics-wise, 5th/6th gen. I think it's a good mixture of both worlds.

As has been said, all movesets etc are 5th/6th gen, along with plans towards things such as Mega evolution in the future.

EVs/IVs are the same as you'd expect, with the exception of there will never be breeding, so grabbing that "perfect" pokemon will be much, much harder.
