Hello How am I able to open a Pokemon after purchasing if the area is locked for me

I'm new to the game and did not know about this thing

When you engage in a trade with another person and the pokemon was caught in a Region that you haven't accessed yet, there will be a prompt where it states that you will be unable to use the pokemon as it will be locked in your PC. Unfortunately, we cannot unlock the pokemon for you, you will have to reach that Region in your adventure. I'm sorry that we cannot assist you further.
