Exclusive pokemon to each server Red & Blue.

Featured Replies

It would be a pretty big motivation for people to switch servers if there were a few exclusive pokemon to each server. This will probably be something for the end game players so they can capture them all. This will force the player to go through the entire story-line again if he or she wants to capture them all. I do not how hard it would be to add this feature where you can trade between the servers but it would sure be a great feature in the future to have. The servers need to be more connected in some way and this would be a great way to do in my opinion. ^^

This is like in the games where the Red version had Growlithe while the Blue version had Vulpix and so on.

120271 How would the servers connect to each other? Like the link cable room? The problem is, you won't be meeting people from the Red Server if you're on the Blue Server, so unless you know a friend who plays the other server or you rely on forums for overserver trading you're not going to have much luck, and the latter sounds like confusing work.

It does not necessary have to be live trading with actual live/active players. It could just transfer the data until the trade request has been accepted from the opposite server.

That was what i was thinking as well, a traiding sistem between the red server and the blue server would be pretty awesome.

Exactly. There isn't any connection at all between the two servers.

It does not have to be live trading. It can just store the data of the pokemon temporarily until the other client on Red server has accepted the trade.

Oh, you mean like a Global Trading System or Wonder Trade? That could be interesting concept, though idk how the staff feel about taking the time to make the servers different.

Exactly. Something that might not necessary require two players to be active at the same time. It could be like an auction house.

Making the servers different in a minor way would be a huge motivation factor for me. It is like the people who buy both original pokemon games because of the few exclusive pokemon in each version.
