I'm fine the way it is because it helps to have a demand for membership.

I actually enjoy that its harder to beat than the handheld games, managed to beat black after just 11-12hours and on here i was still at the 4th gym after that amount of time. So makes the game less boring in the long run if you won't run out of things to do as fast & ofc it needs to be a bit slower due to being an mmo as it would be dumb if everyone completed everything they could do after just a few hours

Main "theme" of this game isnt complete pokedex and beat the best? Leveling should be a second line of game, even getting the best pvp pokes is the most hard part.

Theres no problem about giving benefits to payers, atleast dont [Censored] the original game experience.

i played about half of my game time without membership and can personally say the game experience for me wasnt ruined due to the exp system c:

I have this account for months and im still on second gym because i get bored of grinding like an idiot chinesse farmer (not racismt, just an expresion), its not how a game works, games are entretainment not a job. Ive spent half of my played time on a poke center because of that. If youve felt good leveling im glad you enjoyed the game, but it shouldve enjoyable on all ranks even for a new pokemon player that need to learn about and not get boring on the first 10 minutes. Ye ye theres alot of people playing this pokemon game bla bla, but as obvious, people that doesnt have the same patience as me or others, they just leave forever because they didnt found the "Pokemon Game" that they mind this was, (hundreds of inactive accounts is a good number? Even thousands can be a good one). As ive said, im glad you enjoyed the game with the actual grind way but thats not the way.

I understand all points of view, because are just points of view and opinions that everyone have one same as [Censored].

Erm, you don't have to grind that hard to beat the second Gym. I went past and did the Nugget Bridge first and after I went on forward as far as I could then I went back and defeated her easily.

Ok look. For all of you who complains.

The first gyms are hard. There are no good places to grind. However, when you finish storyline its very easy to level up.!

In my opinion grinding with an unevolved pokemon in cerulean cave is much faster than the original games league grinding.

Note that i played till ruby/saphire where we had to keep rechallenging league to level up. I dont know if exp got easier in later updates.

i had a difficult time beating the second gym, but this also made beating it soooo much more satisfying. Honestly havent felt so happy to beat something since playing dark souls :)

Man, seeing as how so many people have agreed upon the game being harder being a good thing, and not a single person posting stating that they feel the same way as you do, it looks like this is not the game for you, maybe? I mean if you want an easy experience and just rushing through the story without any challenge, any of the handhelds will fulfill this need for you, and there are a few other pokemmos out there which might give you this experience as well.

I highly disagree with the idea that 'the game is too difficult and should be made easier'.

This is based on my experience with previous online games, how they held my attention, and how difficulty in an online setting came into play with this. Instinctively I don't want to grind, however the commitment and it's resultant emotional investment in my 'work' is necessary for me to enjoy the game in the long run, and for me to return! If I really have to prepare for gyms, really pick the right team, and train them well. If I have to really grind for those rares and shinies. If I have to really play the game to recieve the rewards it gives these things a sense of value.

If this were as easy as the hand held I can honestly tell you that I wouldn't play the whole thing through. I'd beat a few gyms, enjoy pokemon in the online setting, and then slowly forget about it. However since starting recently i've had to wrap my head around the fact that pokemon aren't as easy to encounter as in the hand held. I want a pokemon? Cool, which one? Where is it?When is it there? What should I do to encounter it? How much is it worth? Is it viable in battle? E.g. Abra has some much more value to me in PRO than it does in the handheld. I've had to immerse myself in the forums, spend my time watching youtube videos, chatting with other players, learning pokemon all over again in a challanging but therefore rewarding environment.

Having to work for so much has made me appreciate it all the more! It really has, I'm enjoying this far more than I thought I would, and I attribute that to the value I place on the content due to what I've had to invest in it, in the short time i've been playing this. Just my opinion though, and an interesting topic mate :)

I understand all your points since you guys have spent playing more than doing other things, maybe you dont care how to waste your time, and every single reply is from people that actually has beaten the game or is near of. Now use your brain and think on your past times and be honest not just saying the obvious. Logic you going to say at some point "And now what?" but thats going to happen later or sooner, doesnt matter the difficult if you dont stop playing. Btw, i didnt stopped playing but i aggree with the part of thats a grinding game.

So what OP did? Its obvious the potential part think the game isnt "hard" or a "grinding" game, thats because that potential part is playing the game, fking logic isnt it? The high part of people that disagree maybe isnt playing and not going to reply here?

Theres a point

New players cant skip this part ;)

"And now what?" happens with everything. When you get bored of something, just leave it.

I can assure you that this game is a bit more difficult than the original, but it is not absolutely impossible and you don't need to farm like a chinese farmer.

I finished Kanto in 20 hours, that is kinda the same time I take when I enjoy with handheld pokemon games, that are very very very easy to finish. What you have in PRO is a bit more challenging (but definitely not hard), but if you don't like it, just stop playing it and play handeld games that are less challenging. This is not critics, this is an advise: if you don't like something and you do see you can't change it, just leave it.

Why is this thread not closed, people acting as if they are forced to play the game. If u dont enjoy it dont play it, go play something easy that will hold your hand.

I totally aggree with that part, if a game isnt enjoyable for you, you should find other. The point for me as an example is, even if its harder at the start i know it will be funny later so even mad ill keep trying, still harder than normal pokemon games. Offering a boost=makes games like original, when it should be original by default and the boost gives extra xp instead. You want your players to stay your game not to kick them at the start.

Im going to continue playing, i care obvious about the extra difficult, just as said isnt imposible, but that doesnt mean game isnt more harder, accept it.

PS: im entering on a new level of conversation and im not an english talker/student so sorry if im not understandable on something.
