So guys.. which Gen is this game based on ? like.. how will I know on which level will learn 'that' pokemon 'this' attack and so on?

Soon enough, this game will have various regions, ranging from Kanto to Unova; Even islands.

The game mechanics is based on Gen 6 mechanics.

thanks, is it also possible to say which gen 6 then? for example Milotic ( I dont know if its even in this game ) learns in X&Y on lvl 37 Hydro pump but in ORAS it does learn it on lvl 47

From what i've seen, its following ORAS. I would assume they will update to the most latest when sun and moon come out as well.

 

*My gyarados learned crunch. Thats not a thing in x and y.
